Hello.

I was having difficulty with a backup job throwing a "The system was unable to flush I/O writes" error. I noticed, when looking at the job progress, that the issue was happening right after MSP360 trying to create a VSS snapshot of my F: drive.

So I played with the VSS options of the backup job. Unchecking the "Force using VSS" option, saving the job, and running the job right after the modification worked. That was yesterday, middle of the day.

Last night, when the job ran, I got again the "The system was unable to flush I/O writes" error. This morning I edited the job and the "Force using VSS" option was again checked.

Why is the option back? Do I have to re-create a new job from scratch? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
