Question on the following message from backup:

    Full backup postponed (Code: 1533)
Intelligent Retention postponed the creation of the next full backup. It will be created after the early deletion fee period expires for the existing full backup. Backup plan will continue scheduled incremental backups

This appears on a file and folder backup to Wasabi with Forever Forward Incremental enabled. What exactly does this message mean? Is it waiting 90 days before creating a new "Full" backup?

The anser is yes - it will wait until the standard 90 day minimum retention period has expired before doing a full again. But there is a special offer from MSP360 tha reduces that to 30 days. See below.

    https://help.mspbackups.com/billing-storage/storage-providers/wasabi/min-retention-policy
We use BackBlaze for our Image and VHDx backups that we only need to keep for a week as there is no minimum retnetion period, - but not without issues (DM me if interested in more details)
    Hope this helps

Okay, thanks. We have RCS with Wasabi so we have the 30 day period. Didn't know that setting existed for the retention policy.

That period will be shortened to 30 days by MSP360.
