    Hi!

We are beginning to use Cloudberry MSP console and clients. For the moment, it's pretty good!

Unfortunately, we cannot add storage like the standalone client. By exemple, we want to plug in QNAP NAS directly instead of creating a CIFS share and compromise security.

Picture one : We can add Qnap on the standalone client.
Picture two : The only option is a share
Picture three : We have only these on the MSP's console, you standalone client have a way more options!

    Thanks!

Support for Openstack has been dropped for managed backup. If your NAS is a physical device it's better to add it as a local file system account.

Hi Matt, if I understand, MSP edition don't have the same storage option as the standalone?

Yes, that is correct. managed backup providers prefer reliable enterprise-level solutions and Openstack storage providers sometimes lack support for things like proper encryption and compression capabilities, resulting in issues related to data restoration that are caused by peculiarities of a particular storage type.
