    Due to the requirement to update the remote desktop software from 2.4.x to the current 2.5.x, I've made the update. When trying to launch the software, I get the message "Remote desktop is already running." There is no way to open the interface.

    I have this on two Windows 10 PCs that have been updated and they both react the same way. Please advise.

    Can you verify it's not somehow installed twice from control panel? If you can see the two installs, then I would uninstall, restart the PC, make sure it's fully uninstalled and not running in the tray, and then reinstall.

    See if this is the same issue - I have this happen after each update on two machines, while the others work fine.
