You can generate the log archive manually and send it to us via email:
run command prompt and execute the following commands:

chdir {Backup software installation directory}
.\cbb.exe saveLog -p %userprofile%

To find the file you can just execute this:
explorer %userprofile%

If it's to big you can upload to any file-sharing service of your choice and send us the link.

What's the exact error message you see?
If that's indeed OneDrive folder(not just named OneDrive) you would need to disable VSS for that plan to be able to back those files up.
In addition to that you would need to disable "file on demand" functionality.
All of this is related to the recent MS updates, they decided to disable VSS access to OneDrive folder.

The fix will be deployed in version 5.9.4(next update). You can expect it to be released in November.

Overdue status is triggered as soon as the software detects that the backup plan missed its schedule. You'll be able to specify time frame for such backups in one of the future updates, we're already working on that.

The best way would be to send us diagnostic logs from the machine. You can send them via tools > diagnostic menu. I'll contact you via the ticket system there.

Just go to tools > diagnostic menu and send us the logs for investigation. You can specify this thread in the issue description and I'll take the case over from there.

That's the problem Vlad mentioned: local backups are stored with "$" character, so you would need to rename those to ":" in the cloud and synchronize the repository in our software.

That's a problem with their API, unfortunately. No updates yet, other then "when it's done".

Due to how backups work, for local destinations we use "$" character to replace ":". You would need to rename all of the $ signs to : in the cloud manually for the software to recognize them. You can use Cloudberry Explorer for that purpose.

The problem here is that we don't yet officially support import/export functionality for Azure, it will be introduced in one of the future versions of the software.

That shouldn't be a limitation of the freeware version. Is that file located on a network share? In that case VSS won't be able to get access to that file due to Microsoft limitations.

You need to use our software to restore the files that have been encrypted by it.

That functionality is scheduled for implementation in version 6.2. No ETA has yet been given by our R&D.

That's most likely related to Google Drive's API limitations. If you have some kind of versioning enabled on their side it's better to disable it.

Currently it's not clear what causes the issue, so I already requested the logs via email in support ticket. We'll continue communication there.

You can use "custom" mode when creating your backup plans to specify any folder you want on storage side.

Not sure I understand you completely, but the software backs up files based on the time stamps. If it detects a newer date on a file it will back it up, so the process is not random.

There was no particular problem here, so I'm not sure what you mean. Sephira just needed some clarification on the options in the software. Let me know if you need some additional guidance on the topic.

Currently we only offer the creation of a bootable USB with which you can later restore your image-based backups on another physical machine.

I can recommend using Minio - self-hosted S3-compatible storage server.
Minio is known to work well with CloudBerry Lab products if runs on a Unix-based OS, not Windows. Windows compativility issue will be fixed soon.

In case that's a Windows machine I can currently only recommend adding it as a network share via "local file system" account menu. Perhaps some other Openstack self-hosted solutions would also work fine for you.
