• 2.5 update problem
It's on that page after you click Download (behind the Windows Save As dialog). Can you check again - I just verified and can see one. It's under the section Freeware Activation. If you are not seeing it, then I need to know what browser and OS you are using.
  • 2.5 update problem
The activation code is on the download page. Download again and look for it on that page.
  • Specify encryption password option?
You can submit them to Support, but they cannot be posted here on the forums. If you have not run a backup yet, then there is no data to run a consistency check against, so I would not worry about that option until you've run the first backup. Please report back once you do that.
  • Specify encryption password option?
I'm not sure. You changed the backup algorithm to AES-256 from what? When you enable or disable encryption, then the product needs to perform a new, full update of all data the next backup execution. If it was disabled and you enabled encryption, did you run a backup yet?
  • Cloudberry Linux on armhf (raspberry pi)
There's an open requirement in the system and I've added your request. But, at this time, there are no firm plans to add Raspberry Pi support.
  • Specify encryption password option?
Are you sure you are entering the correct encryption password? You can try a restore of a single file to be sure.
  • Specify encryption password option?
if you encrypted your backup, then the consistency check cannot be done unless the encryption password is provided for the process.
  • Local to Cloud Backup is creating files ending with :
If you’re using CloudBerry Backup to back up the files to Google Cloud, you need to use CloudBerry Backup to restore those files. Backups are in a proprietary format unless you use the Simple backup format. Why are you using the Google CLI to restore?
  • "Remote Desktop is already running"
Can you verify it's not somehow installed twice from control panel? If you can see the two installs, then I would uninstall, restart the PC, make sure it's fully uninstalled and not running in the tray, and then reinstall.
  • Immutable Backups
The beta is now available for stand-alone customers and can be downloaded here. I don't have a date for Managed Backup yet.

More information about the release is in this post:

  • Global options display
Thanks. I wasn't sure the exact syntax, but I do now thanks to your post!
  • Global options display
have you tried that command without the set option?
  • Do I need to activate versioning prior to using CloudBerry Backup?
No. Do not use cloud versioning. We don't support it. You need to use our retention features that are exposed in the backup wizard. If you use the legacy file folder plan type, then you'll see retention options for the number of versions you want to keep and for how long. If you use the newer archive backup format, you'll see options for GFS settings that will determine how many restorable backups to keep and over what time period.
  • Licensing
You'd have to provide more details about what you need to license: desktops, servers, virtual, SQL Server, etc.. Generally the freeware edition is good for some home users with small backup needs. It's not suitable for businesses and for those that need more advanced functionality like support for Windows Server, image backups, compression, encryption, and improved backup performance.

Depending on your environment size, we have two options:
    1. Purchase our CloudBerry Backup perpetual licenses and purchase (optional) annual maintenance if you need upgrades / support. Check the Compare Pricing section to understand the editions for Windows and pricing: https://www.msp360.com/backup/windows.aspx
    2. If you have 5 or more endpoints and servers and want centralized management for the environment, you can look into our Managed Backup product. It's a subscription. For small businesses, licenses start at $10 / month for Windows desktops before discounts. https://www.msp360.com/managed-backup

Let me know more and maybe I can provide a more detailed response.
  • O365 TEAMS, SharePoint and OneDrive
Yes you can use Backblaze B2.
  • Syncing with preloaded data from an AWS Snowball
Unfortunately, based on your description, I think you did it wrong. Please review this knowledge base article that describes the process and how to use snowball with our software https://help.msp360.com/cloudberry-backup/miscellaneous/seeding-data/seeding-data-with-aws-snowball-edge

What you might be able to do is to set the backup to ignore files that are older than the date you copied everything to Snowball, so only new files and updates to existing files actually get backed up, and then leave the S3 bucket that was loaded from snowball alone. But that's going to make backup management pretty difficult. Please provide additional details after you review the article I posted and we'll see if we can figure out how best to proceed.
  • Syncing with preloaded data from an AWS Snowball
I guess I’m not exactly clear on what you’re trying to do. Have you used snowball to move the Raw data to S3 because you need to access the data with other applications in S3? Normally, if you were using snowball with our products you would run a backup on your local data to the snowball device, send the snowball device back to Amazon, and have them load the data into the S3 bucket. That data is backup data, not raw data, and at that point you would synchronize the repository with the data in S3 in order to seed the initial back up. But you have raw data in S3, and I need to understand exactly what you’re trying to do.
  • Syncing with preloaded data from an AWS Snowball
what's the format of the data that you moved to S3 through Snowball? Did you use the Snowball device to run a backup using our product and then transfer that backup data via the Snowball device to the S3 bucket? Or is it just raw data?

It’s an old request, but it’s now enabled. You can download the QuickSupport agent using this persistent link: http://www.msp360.com/qs
