  • Recovery USB - how to connect to WiFi?
    ↪Yuri Alexandrov
No such option right now, our R&D is working on its implementation.

  • Feature Request: Restore-only client
    ↪David Davila
This functionality is only available for the standalone customers.
Managed backup requires a specific client built for your account, so that's the main reason we don't have such version of the software.

  • bootable usb for dell r720xd
    ↪Aaron Luders
That should work, actually. It's been a while since I tested that method, but it's a viable workaround.

  • bootable usb for dell r720xd
    ↪Aaron Luders
Seems to be a driver problem.

Could you please clarify what you're referring to by "VMware upgrade package"?

  • Permission Denied on files during backup
    ↪Arfa
If you're unsure of the logs location it's better to contact support, the configuration files are always saved locally.

As for the multi-user setup, the most secure option is to change permissions for each plan individually.
Setting root permissions is just the easiest option and suits most of our clients.

We do not yet support this functionality. I have forwarded a feature request to our developers on your behalf.

  • Centos 8 Compatiblity
    ↪Arfa

We don't have any information on Centos 8 support, but it's in the plans.

We also can't guarantee that the software will work properly with this setup.

    ↪Lukas
I'm afraid that won't work, we only support classic cmd.

That's a known problem, will be fixed in the next update. Currently there is no workaround, unfortunately.

  • Azure Files as backup source - simple way to backup Azure Files instances
    ↪Joshua
We only support Azure Blob for the backup purposes. You can use Cloudberry Explorer for Azure to migrate your files directly to Azure Files instance.

Can you provide the screenshots of the problem? Doesn't looks like it's a permission problem.

  • not able to see AWS Glacier region vault
    ↪Dave B
Just checked and there seems to be a problem with this Glacier region. We reproduced it and forwarded that information to our R&D.

Using root account credentials seems to be working fine.

    Thank you for the feedback.

  • Archive Mode backups - Why so hard/impossible to restore individual files?
    ↪Yuri Alexandrov
Too early right now, I'm afraid. The internal testing is going fine and there will be a big announcement regarding the release, so you won't miss it.

  • Upload to deep archive by default
    ↪AlexS
Drive doesn't support storage classes yet, that functionality will be added later.

Note that due to how Deep Archive works it's unlikely that we'll implement it in Drive. We recommend using our backup tool for these purposes.

  • I can't use Cloudberry Backup Home Edition?
    ↪Lukkkas
It's actually highly likely that you're in domain. Can you please provide a screenshot from your System > Properties menu? You need to right-click on "This PC" icon and select "Properties".

Better to send us the diagnostic logs for investigation via tools > diagnostic menu. This will create a support ticket automatically.

    ↪Chris Rodgers
We need to investigate the logs.
Please send them by going to Drive tray icon, right-click and choose Diagnostic, use "Send to Support" button there.
