You can create USB on any Windows machine, that's actually the point of the procedure. The newer the system you create it on the better.

Better to send us diagnostic logs from the software(tools > diagnostic). After that creates a ticket please also provide the screenshot of those incomplete chunks on storage side.

Yes, I'm aware of that ticket, but we didn't receive any info regarding any problems on Friday. If such issues reoccur we would need logs from just one machine if it happens on a large scale.

Hm, there was nothing on Friday, but one of the plans might've been in running state since weekend and then left that way since then. Anyway, it's better to send logs to support in cases like that.

That was due to maintenance. If the plans still don't work send the logs to support.

Yeah, all accounts are added via the "Storage" tab including the local(file system) ones.

That's not the best idea, to be honest. This is not a supported configuration and we can't guarantee the safety of your data. OneDrive's API currently prevents implementation of file name encryption, so do this at your own risk.

Looks like your SQL instance is installed on a VM and not host, so in your case you indeed need 2 licenses for your setup, since currently our software is designed to back up local SQL servers.

Pretty unusual to see these errors on restore. Make sure you're on the latest version, reproduce the problem and send us the diagnostic logs via tools > diagnostic menu. Mention this thread in the issue description please.

The second procedure is the correct one.

I saw this error only a couple of times, but only during backups, so this is pretty unusual.

Make sure to reboot the system after installing the software, it is required for drivers to properly "set in". After that you should be able to find the Drive tray icon and add your cloud storage as a mapped drive.

Yeah, full backup once a month is usually what most of our customers do.

Regarding Hyper-V functionality: some improvements should already be implemented in April(version 6.1), and then we'll have a big update in Summer(version 6.3), at least that is what on our road map.

As for configuration you mentioned: it's actually very useful to have an image-based(or VM) backup + file plan that transfers important data to the cloud(not the whole system, obviously), since file backups will have their own versioning and will be easier to restore in disaster recovery situations.
