• Scaling issues
Doesn't look like you specified a valid email address when sending the logs, so we can't really communicate properly in the ticket system.
  • Robot is disabled
In that case the first thing to check is the availability of your storage account and the bucket. If everything looks correct on Google's side try running the plan a little bit later and send the logs to us if the issue persists.
  • Robot is disabled
Do you use Google Cloud to run your backups? This error message is usually provided by that provider when an account is disabled.
  • Copying file attributes
There's an option to back up NTFS permissions for that. You still need to make sure the account has full access to the data.
  • Decryption of files without the client
It's not possible, you need our software to restore data that was encrypted by it.
  • Event ID's Always 0 / Zero on Cloudberry Windows Events
Currently it's always "0", but the events themselves are in different categories: "success" status will be in "information" category and "fail" will be in "Error".
  • HyperV & SQL

    1) That's not necessary.
    2) Yes, correct.
  • Copying file attributes
I guess you need to disable "do not back up system and hidden files" option on the "advanced filter" step when editing/creating your plans, like on the screenshot:
    hcr97n0s4vlh5snm.png
Note that such files usually require special permissions from your user account, so make sure you're changing service account to administrator via tools > change service account menu.
  • Migration
You just need to do 2 things:
    1) Release the license via Main menu button > licensing
    2) Export configs/plans via export/import menu

After that it's just a matter of reinstalling the application and activating the license. If the folder path to the data is the same you don't need to perform any additional actions.
  • User prefix in the S3 bucket
For security purposes that string is assigned randomly.
If you copy that string, edit any user in your web dashboard and paste it in the address field of your browser instead the user you're currently editing the page will open the user which that string belongs to.
  • No such storage options like the standalone Cloudberry's client?
Yes, that is correct. managed backup providers prefer reliable enterprise-level solutions and Openstack storage providers sometimes lack support for things like proper encryption and compression capabilities, resulting in issues related to data restoration that are caused by peculiarities of a particular storage type.
  • No such storage options like the standalone Cloudberry's client?
Support for Openstack has been dropped for managed backup. If your NAS is a physical device it's better to add it as a local file system account.
  • CloudBerry Activation
That's just for registering license activation requests.
  • Removing Computers
Currently it's only possible to hide them, in one of the future updates it'll be possible to delete them entirely. The most reliable way is to, of course, uninstall the software from those machines.
  • Need some help with Backup Settings
We don't delete the bucket itself during this procedure, it will just be empty and ready for deletion on B2 side.
  • Exchange 2013 recovery options
Completely understand that. More updates are on the way.
  • HyperV & SQL
VM version can be installed on the host, so only one instance of the software is required. For SQL you need to install SQL version on guest and that's pretty much it.
  • Need some help with Backup Settings

    1) You can simply set the software to delete versions that are older than 90 days on the retention policy window. That should be enough.

    2) I'd suggest to do full backups as frequent as possible, that should keep versioning consistent. Doing full backup once a week is a good practice.

    3) That's almost impossible to calculate, especially for file backups. You need to take into account the size of the files, amount of changes for that data set and the frequency of the plan runs.

    4) You might want to disable "keep number of versions" parameter if you want to keep more than 3 versions of data on storage side. Time-based parameters look good.

    5) It's up to you, but in general I recommend running full backup once a week, like I previously mentioned.

    6) This article should help, the process is automatic, but it will take some time to purge the data.
  • Exchange 2013 recovery options
Features like that are implemented based on our developers' priorities, I don't have any particular details regarding that. Item-level restore for Exchange 2016 should be available in version 6.1. No info about other versions yet.
  • Exchange 2010 Mailbox restore
Sorry, just double-checked, mailbox restore is not yet available.
