    This seems to be some kind of a local issue, I have just reproduced the described behavior and was able to scroll everything normally. Not only Task Manager, but other applications too. Does your mouse use some kind of specific driver or something like that ?

    Let's try a different approach, I have requested logs from you in another thread. While we are doing this, could you please do the following:

    1) Uninstall the CBRA on the remote machine and remove C:\ProgramData\Remote Assistant folder
    2) Install it again and set up the Unattended Access again
    3) Try connecting to it

    Please send us the logs from both of the machines Local and Remote one, we need to understand what is happening from the software's POV. You can do it simply by navigating to Main Menu - Diagnostic and please don't forget to mention this post in the description. Thank you

    are covered by one feature, called - Unattended Access. You can find more info and a step-by-step guide on how to set up this feature here:

    As a side note, Custom Password feature is the alternative to everchanging PIN, Unattended Access would only work with an encryption key.

    1) Please check the Event logs on the Win2008 machine and make an export after the installation

    It seems that the configuration files got corrupted or maybe even the software's files too. I would suggest a clean re-install as cleaning out only config folder might not get the required result.

    It is really hard to say.

    1) There are so many possible scenarios why it happened like that. From my POV it really looks like the settings have been reset

    2) Custom password is an alternative for the PIN, basically, a way to have a constant PIN instead of dynamically generated.

    The unattended access is still here and working properly, try setting it up again. It should resolve the issue.

    I presume this is happening due to double keyboard capture, on your machine, it is happening in RA and on the remote one VMWare Player captures the keyboard, we haven't tested it with VMWare yet, all I can promise here is that we will take a look at it, but a bit later. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    In this case, I would suggest setting up the Unattended Access to avoid entering the PIN every time or use the new Custom Password feature.
