Remote Assistant Shut Down Completely When Attempting To Update Address Book
I've done several installations of RA, but my latest install has an issue. When I attempt to update the address book with connection information (encryption key), the software just closes completely. I've uninstalled and re-installed the software with no success. It was installed on a Windows 10 Home addition notebook. Connection to the host works, but having to retain/store encryption key information elsewhere is extremely inconvenient.
I definitely agree with you. Please do the following:
1) Start software, repeat the scenario so it closes itself again.
2) Start it again --> Main Menu - Diagnostic -- Mention this thread in the description. We will take a look at it. Thank you.
Prior to your reply I tried a couple of things:
1) Disabled virus software, but in doing so, that did not resolve the issue
2) Checked for Windows Updates (incomplete and/or pending). I noticed that the system had a lot of incomplete and pending updates. So I made sure all updates were successfully completed which afterwards the system restarted. Upon the restart, I retried and now everything works perfectly.
We're still enjoying your product, keep up the GREAT work!!!
Those are great news, glad to hear the issue is resolved. And thank you for your feedback.
