    I tried to connect to a remote PC the other day and it got to the Windows sign in page but still had the message like "waiting for remote...." (i can't remember exactly). this has happened before so i waited a couple minutes and tried again. usually this works but this time it said it couldn't connect and it actually changed the remote computer's ID and everything. i had to set up unattended access again.
    since then, i've been able to connect but each time i have to enter the encryption key, like it's not being saved.
    Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    i just realised that i recently changed the name of the remote PC so i just removed it and added the new details. all good again
