Time Discrepancies and Overdue Backups
The time difference on the MSP360 dashboard is very frustrating. It seems many things are displayed in UTC time zone. Job times are off from my time zone. This is also causing some of our backups to show as overdue when they are not. This has been going on for quite some time now and is getting very frustrating. How do we get times on the dashboard to match our local time? Our time zone is set properly in general settings, (UTC-8:00 Pacific Time) but everything is still 8 hours off.
Are we the only ones seeing this?
This has been happening to us, particularly for SQL Backup Plans, for over a year.
If I open the plan and save it, the overdue goes away.
Strange. The issue is happening to us if we modify an existing job from the MSP dashboard. Then it starts doing the overdue thing. Even creating a brand new job that is scheduled to run later that day immediately goes to overdue. That issue does seem to be only SQL jobs.
The other issue we are seeing is on any job if we go to history view, where it has the calendar and the green checks if you click on a specific job it shows the run time in UTC.
Maybe two unrelated issues but both definitely having to do with UTC vs actual time zone we're in.
