Using Windows Desktop Backup, which of these interpretations of the 5TB limit is correct:
    1. The sum of all storage locations cannot exceet 5TB (e.g., NAS and Backblaze), or
    2. The total at any storage location cannot exceet 5TB, or
    3. There is no limit on local storage but cloud storage cannot exceet 5TB, or
    4. Something else?

The freeware version allows storage of up to 5 TB in Amazon S3 and 200 GB in other cloud storage. The paid version supports 5 TB in any cloud storage, while the Ultimate license has no storage limit.

@Alexander Negrash To clarify, with the paid version (not Ultimate) if I store 5TB in Backblaze can I also store 5TB (or more) in my NAS at the same time? In other words, does the 5TB limit apply ONLY to cloud storage?

There is no limit to the local backup size in any paid version. Therefore, the answer to your question is yes
