File System Storage Account Error
I'm trying to use a file share as a backup location. When I did a trial of the software a few months ago, I didn't have an issue doing this. I put in the path to the network share and credentials that have full access. I test the connection and it says "Operation Completed Successfully". I go to test it again and it says "Path Not Found".
Not sure how to fix this. Any help would be appreciated. Support is looking into it, but they haven't been able to find anything yet.
Does the service account for CloudBerry Backup have access to the share? If the account you're using is Local System, consider changing to a Windows account with full access.
That was it! I was using the local system account. I switched to a service account and it accepted the credentials. I’ll test a backup tonight. Is this in the documentation because I couldn’t find anything about using a service account to do local backups?
Great! You can find additional information here, including how to use the an account that's a member of the Backup Operators group.
