  • RIP Free unattended access
very unfortunate that we now need to pay for unattended access. I don't know if I'm willing to pay. Can I ask why it was removed from the free version? do you guys spend more time fixing problems etc due to unattended access or something?

Update: just checked out the cost and there's no way I can pay $AUD130/year just to get unattended access again. Gotta be honest...this sucks.
  • Remote Desktop Randomly Loses Settings
i only just saw your request for the logs. I sent the logs from the PC which settings got wiped somehow. I refreshed Windows 2 days ago on the other PC so it's logs won't be any good will they? they won't go back back far enough.
  • Not Saving Encryption Key
i just realised that i recently changed the name of the remote PC so i just removed it and added the new details. all good again
  • Bad Connection?
been connected for the past hour and even without using multiple monitors option the lag is too much. not sure what's wrong now
  • Bad Connection?
so I used it for a couple hours without the multiple monitors in one window option and had next to no lag and no disconnection.
any reason behind this do you think?
  • Bad Connection?
    Hi Sergey

I always thought I was using a direct connection. I never set anything up other than the unattended access process.

I'm pretty sure the problems I'm having occur when I view multiple monitors in one window. I'm pretty sure I never had connection issues before that was an option. I won't use it for a while and see what happens (it's great option to have because the remote PC has dual monitors but the host has only 1)
  • No Sound
i get a lot of voicemail messages and i use Remote Assistant all the time. it would be great if i could hear the voicemail while i'm logged in instead i have to log in to my VoIP provider website to hear them.
  • No Sound
so i've been playing with this on and off for a while but can't get it to work. i found that if i connect to the remote PC, turn it's mic on and play sound, i can hear it on the host PC. i believe the problem may well be me.
could someone explain how it's supposed to work?
  • No Sound
look forward to the next version
  • No Sound
i still don't get any sound from the remote computer. i sent the diagnostics some time ago and the response was that they couldn't see a problem. i thought the issue may have been one of the PCs but it has since been upgraded (i put in a new mobo, cpu and RAM) but still no sound.
and the problem is not just one way. no matter which PC I am connecting to, neither one has sound (i only use RA on 2 PCs)

    Thanks...I've sent them off
