Object-Lock is only available with the New Backup Format, which has not yet been introduced for SQL Server backup. Though there is a way to enable object lock directly on the bucket

It usually means problems with your cloud storage account. I would recommend opening a support ticket if you haven't done so already

Generally speaking if your data got encrypted with ransomware before you notice it can be uploaded to the cloud and overwrite your "healthy" backups. The best way to protect from ransomware is to have a copy (several copies) of your data in the cloud with enabled object lock (immutability). You can learn more here

I saw you are trying to access Glacier. Were you backing up to the old-style Glacier, not the S3 Glacier storage class? Try this then

You can always use CloudBerry Backup in a "retore-only" mode. no licenses needed to restore data
