If you use the same user account, the best way would be to delete old backups via the Backup Storage tab in the backup agent. If you wish to delete the whole user account or all data under the user account, you can do it in the Management Console on the Organization>Users page. Click the red cross icon and choose one of the suggested options.

Please open a case and send logs to the support team.

You can configure network share as a backup source in the backup agent UI. It's not supported in the web console yet.

You can create a Bootable USB in the agent on any other computer and then boot from it on the machine you want to restore.

The 'Change password' option will change the password to the one you specify. 'Reset password' will sent an email to a user account email with new credentials

I got it. Sorry for the confusion. You can edit default settings per endpoint. On the Computers (Remote Management) page, click Edit>Edit Options

Then open Retention Policy

There is no such thing as "default settings". If you want to distribute the same backup configuration to multiple machines, try the Remote Deply tool https://mspbackups.com/AP/RemoteDeploy

Can you share more details on your backup configuration:

- Are you using New Backup Format or the legacy one?
- What is the Operating System?
- What is the backup plan type, e.g., Image-Based, File-Level?
- Does that happen during full or incremental backup?

You can find them in the Backup Plan wizard on the Retention Policy step

The dedup base will be regenerated from the structure of your backup. It doesn't make any sense to keep it separately.
