  • Host computer disconnecting issue
    ↪Mark Sheldon
    Hello Mark,

It really looks like some local connection issue, we do not have anything like that, nor do we have any outages that would result in such disconnects. I would suggest checking the connection and any kind of security software installed on your machine. Perhaps it is seeing the software as malicious and you need to whitelist it.

  • Display of the remote monitor
    ↪George Johnson
    Hello George,

Just tested this feature on my build and it worked perfectly, the logic here is that we do not hide it, allowing you to display over this toolbar. Maybe it is some kind of strange glitch, I will pass it to our QA team to take a look. Thank you for pointing it out.

    Hello Egor,

Please send us the diagnostic info from both of the machines. You can do this simply by navigating to Main Menu - Diagnostic, don't forget to mention this thread in the description. Thank you.

  • Remote Computer not showing
    ↪Lynne Moore
    Hello Lynne,

In this case, the simplest way would be asking for the ID of your fathers machine again. Address Book is coming a bit later in the next release of the software. We cannot tell why the ID have disappeared from the recents due to sheer amount of possibilities.

First of all I would suggest using Unattended Access, which you can setup simply by following this guide:

    https://help.cloudberrylab.com/cloudberry-remote-assistant/using-remote-assistant/encryption-and-unattended-access

After that execute services.msc ---> right-click Remote Assistant Service ---> LogOn ---> Set to your Admin account

  • The Remote Assistant is out of order after the entry
    ↪GabrielTT
    Hello Gabriel,

According to the situation you have described and keeping in mind that you can move the icons, I would suggest a simple workaround which is simply to reduce the click speed in the mouse settings and try again.

  • Is Remote Assistant Down?
    ↪fjracz
    Hello,

That is correct, the issue has already been resolved. The outage only occurred on our US-East server and partly wasn't related to our software. The servers are up and running. Thank you for pointing it out.

    ↪John McLeod

    Hello John,

My question is, IS the IOS and MACOS msp360 remote assistant the same control module? — John McLeod

That is correct, all the modules utilize the same engine and API. The host for macOS version is coming a bit later during next year.

Also are the modules listed separately in the Apple Store? — John McLeod

iOS version is already in the AppStore, macOS version is coming to AppStore a bit later during next year.

Let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.

  • Remote PC changes ID and PIN; can't access without using Teamviewer
    ↪Jeffo2
In this case simply use the Custome Password feature, which you can find in the Options - Security. It is a constant PIN of sorts.

It seems that software doesn't have sufficient permissions to restart the host process on the remote machine. Please check that it is running from an Admin account.

  • Cannot acces through VPN
    ↪marco Stanzani
    Hello Marco,

The VPN connection should be initiated by the software or the machine is already connected via VPN? If it is variant number 1 - the answer would be no, if it is variant number 2 - there should be no issues, just checked it on my personal machine. Let me know if I missed something, thank you.
