I am trying to backup to our company Back Blaze account, which hosts backups for lots of clients. On the server for a new client, I'm getting this error. I suspect it has something to do with TLS/SSL but I am not sure exactly what to check.

You'll see that we use TLS 1.0 (yes, for some users with legacy servers) 1.1, 1.2 with a bunch of ciphers.
I think you should be checking either your endpoint security software, the antivirus or the firewall.
The issue from that forum thread has been resolved quite some time ago.
Such connection errors may be caused by different factors, including problems on ISP side.
Make sure your system is up to date(unless you're using Server 2003, in that case we can't help), all the latest .net and C packages are installed and there's no antivirus intervention in your network environment.
Of course, if you're on trial version or a paying customer don't hesitate to contact us via support channel by opening a ticket or sending us the diagnostic logs, we're always glad to help.
