It's an access denied. The service account backing up cannot access a file. You can check the file from backup history and change its ownership of needed. But in general if the service account doesn't have access to a file owned by a different user account, it can't be backed up. Using the backup operator account can help prevent these issues. Or just check the file to see what's going on.

You need to register your backup storage, synchronize the repository, and then you'll see your backups and plans in the UI.

When you click on Backup Storage, do you not see your backup storage? If not, have you registered the storage account after reinstalling?

I see this error and many complaints about it on the internets. Seems the solution varies depending on installed software. I do not see this message referenced in our system - I'll add your comments. How have you determined remote desktop is the reason the clipboard error triggering?

Either way, can you provides the steps to reproduce and include the OS and Excel version?

There's no Backup Storage link on the left. I went through the Linux UI this morning. If you're not seeing it, please post an image so I can see what you're seeing. Thanks.

Go to the Backup Storage tab and look at the account in question. You should see a Configuration folder with the Backup Plans in them. Right-click a plan and click the restore option.

This assumes you saved the backup plans with the backup data in the original plans. If not, you'll need to recreate the plan.

Any files that have been fully copied will remain in cloud storage. If you lose the queue and restart the download another time, Explorer will prompt you when an object already exists in cloud storage and ask whether you want to overwrite (copy again) or ignore.

Have you tried the scaled mode option in the RD toolbar which scales the rendering to your local resolution? If not, please try - it's the icon in the toolbar after connection that is next to the Mic on/off toggle.

You can either change it or create a new storage account and update the backup plan.

Simply copying the data and synchronizing repository(tools > options > repository) would work.
In general, you need to do the following:
1) Copy your data from the old device to the new one manually
2) Attach your new device to the machine
3) Synchronize local repository via tools > options > repository once new destination is added.

Yes, it's still on the roadmap. I know the team is working on some enhancements around Remote Deploy and this particular enhancement is slated for the 4.8 management console release. I know it has been on the roadmap for some time, and unfortunately, I still do not have a firm release date. But it is scheduled to be added.

Are you not getting the Windows UAC prompt after you select the new folder? A UAC prompt should come up asking for elevated permission to change the folder. If it's not coming up, have you disabled UAC in Windows?
